Big Blue M

This auto tag sports blue and white circles and a big M for Montgomery County.  The blue did not stand out very well on the black background, so I shadowed it with white.

Monogram Necklaces

I cut these letters for a friend who wanted to personalize some graduation gifts.  What a great idea! It was quick and easy and what teen wouldn't love these fun necklaces?

Floating Wedding Frame

This floating frame is personalized with a monogram, first names and wedding date.  The frame has space to display a 5 X 7 photo.  The silver-chrome adhesive vinyl is difficult to work with.  I scraped it off twice and finally gave up on the 3rd try.  If you look closely, you can see bubbles in the silver T.  The gold letters went on much more smoothly.  If you have any tips for applying the chrome, please let me know.  Poking a hole with a pin to release the air doesn't work, because the hole will be visible in the chrome.

Family Message Center

This magnetic dry erase family message center is about 20" X 30".  I made it as a gift for our secret pal reveal party at the end of school.  It was a fun project to do. I was concerned about how the vinyl would adhere to the white board, but it seemed to stick very well. After I gave it, I realized that it would have been cute to personalize the magnets as well.  Maybe next time.

Personalized Wedding Photo Mat

This was a quick and easy personalized wedding gift.  I used an 11 X 14 black frame with a mat cut to fit an 8 X 10 photo.

waterbottles

If all goes as planned all our kids and grandkids except one will be home this weekend.  Nadia is out of the country visiting with her dad's family.  I thought it would be fun to make something for everyone.  I found these trendy aluminum water bottles at a really good price and decided to make everyone one.  Hopefully it will be a good "green" alternative to disposable cups.  I tried to customize them with each child's favorite color or clipart of something they liked - 4-wheeler for Devon, fishing for Brodie, baseball for Mason and a pink bottle and princess crown for Brooke, etc.)  We only have 2 granddaughters, but they hold their own against the 8 grandsons!  Next week will no doubt be full of fun and excitement.
